HVV (Switch)
HVV is the association coordinating public transport in Hamburg. Its main objectives are to provide a unified fare system and to facilitate travel by harmonizing the timetables of the different companies. Switch is HVV's MaaS application.
Hochbahn
The Hochbahn is a member of HVV and one of the leading public transport operators. Having received its contract directly from the City of Hamburg, Hochbahn operates metro lines, bus lines and several ferry services, providing half of all HVV public transport services.
MOIA
MOIA is a Volkswagen Group technology company that develops on-demand carpooling services in urban areas. MOIA works in partnership with cities and public transport companies.
New Mobility Solutions
New Mobility Solutions is a company originating from Hochbahn and ITS Hamburg, focusing on the digitalization of transport. They are involved in numerous innovative projects in the field of mobility.
This project is supported by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. EIT Urban Mobility acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable.
