EU Commissionner for Justice, Didier Reynders, takes a Waymo ride in San Francisco

The European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, tested a Waymo car on 14 July 2023 as part of a trip to the United States, and more specifically to the Bay Area, to discuss the recently adopted EU-US Data Privacy Framework for safe and trusted Transatlantic data flows.

This visit shows the growing interest for self-driving vehicles in Europe.
